Going Back To Las Vegas

The girls are heading to Las Vegas 16 October to 20 October.  This is my fourth trip to Las Vegas and my first time on an all girls adventure.  This is going to be an absolute blast with eight of us going to drink, party, shop, see shows and gamble together.

We are staying at my favorite hotel, The Golden Nugget on Fremont Street.  Not such a grand scale as the hotels to be found on the new strip. The Golden Nugget is a very old remodeled hotel with easy access to other hotels, entertainment, tattooing, yards at the bayou, funyuns and so much more.

This year Fremont Street is offering Oktober Fright Fest during the time the girls will be enjoying their stay. It promises Beer, Brats, Bats and Booze. Looking forward to the creepy Las Vegas Halloween costumes, haunted house, and shows.  I hear a Yard calling me from the Bayou now.  Do I get the Lime Margarita or Mudslide?

My destination of must see this trip is Minus 5 located at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.  It is an all ice bar.  Furniture, bar, glasses all made of glacial ice.  Have a cocktail and sit on some ice to cool down from the intense Las Vegas heat.  I wonder if those jackets laying around in this photo are ment for the guests to the bar to wear.

Cirque de Soleil offers amazing acrobatic shows. O at the Bellagio and Ka at the MGM are of my past Las Vegas experiences. O was my first and most memorable show by Cirque de Soleil. The outstanding theatrical performance above, in, and on water was breathtakingly beautiful. I am told that Zumanity at New York New York is a must see to fill my sexual viewing appetite by Cirque de Soleil. Here I come Zumanity. The October girls trip will have me sitting in one of your seats with an appetite for my eyes to savor your sensual display of sexual innuendo

The Last Exorcism

The Last Exorcism , an immense saddening for a horror movie lover.

This movie was a very massive let down.  I was hoping to have a new scare to add to my favorite scary movie collection. A big, flat, fall on your face NO!  The Last Exorcism was filmed as a reality show following a priest on his last exorcism.  Jamie and I saw a pre screening that was full of laughs.  There was not a single gasp that was heard amongst the tittering of laughter.  The only eeks were from the clips seen in the trailers and were a greater let down once incorporated into the movie.  This movie was confusing at best.  Was she possessed, wasn't she possessed, was she faking it for attention or was she just greatly traumatized by her family situation?  Perhaps a sequel could clarify what was going on with the devil worship scene that closed the movie out.  However, likely not going to see a sequel for this movie plus I am shocked it even made it into the theaters.

To get a ha ha scare you need to watch this Chatroulette recording of a take on the Last Exorcism .
